Ping G430 SFT HL fairway wood

The Ping G430 HL fairway wood is a real game changer on long approach shots! The HL model is based on a 5.5 gram aluminum backweight, an Alta Quick shaft and a lighter grip to achieve lighter clubhead and swing weights. Ping introduces Carbonfly Wrap technology to the fairway woods to create more length by positioning the center of gravity closer to the force line. Ball speed is maximized, resulting in higher, longer carry distances.

Carbonfly Wrap
Ping introduces: Carbonfly Wrap, a lightweight carbon crown that wraps large portions of the head. Weight savings are redistributed to lower the center of gravity and increase ball speed and moment of inertia (MOI). The carbon also contributes to an improved sound.

Facewrap Technology
The face, made of high-strength variable-thickness maraging steel, wraps around the sole and crown. It creates more face elasticity and faster ball speeds for higher launch and distance.

Spinsistency
A variable face radius creates less loft at the bottom of the clubface to improve performance (especially on thin shots) by reducing spin, resulting in higher ball speeds that consistently produce longer, better results.

Adjust Loft & Lie
Trajectory Tuning 2.0 uses a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel that offers 8-positions to adjust your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.

The lightweight, 8-position hosel allows adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than Std) to optimize your ball flight for the best results.

G430 High Launch (HL)
A 5.5 g weight, PING ALTA Quick shaft and 41 g Lamkin UTx grip make up the lighter HL (High Launch) construction. Players with slower swing speeds can generate more clubhead speed to generate faster ball speed and launch.
