TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus Driver

TaylorMade Stealth 2 is the first driver in the history of TaylorMade that contains more carbon than any other material. It features several technological innovations that made it a powerhouse at all levels of golf. Because of the weight savings from using carbon materials, engineers were able to incorporate a 15g sliding weight rail. This allows the golfer to influence shot shape by shifting the mass on the sole to create the desired ball flight. The Stealth 2 Plus is the lowest spinning driver in the family.

New 60x Carbon Twist Face
Building on the rapid success of the first 60X Carbon Twist face, which optimized energy transfer for high ball speeds, the Stealth 2's new face design features an advanced version of Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) to maintain ball speed on off-center hits and increase forgiveness. It weighs 24 grams (2 grams lighter than the original Stealth face) and is engineered with an expanded COR face for a larger sweet spot and improved performance across the face.

ReinforcedCarbon Composite Ring
The carbon reinforced composite ring unites the driver head into a single force, releasing additional mass strategically placed to provide more forgiveness.

Engineeredfor Speed and Forgiveness
The corrective tendencies of the Twist Face™ combined with advanced ICT help maintain ball speed and accuracy on off-center hits. A lightweight full carbon body allows engineers to add mass and strategically place weight for optimal ball launch and forgiveness.

Nanotexture Coating
The 60X Carbon Twist Face is encased in a polyurethane coating that features revolutionary nanotexture technology. The nanotexture coating is used to fine-tune ball launch and spin to optimize overall distance regardless of playing conditions.

Asymmetrical Inertia Generator
The inertia generator continues to be the basis for the refined aerodynamic characteristics. The result is a faster head shape that increases swing speed on the downswing for golfers of all skill levels. The clubhead features a 15g weight on the back to optimize MOI and forgiveness.

Sliding Weight Rail
The weight savings from the 60X Carbon Twist Face and full carbon construction allowed for the use of a 15g sliding weight. It is designed to help golfers control shot shape by shifting mass on the sole to create the desired ball flight.
