Rarely has the self-image of the organizers of the "Masters" been more fitting than this year. It is not the first Major of the year, but the last! No spectators are allowed on the course, it is started from two tees and the Champions Dinner has to be cancelled...but one thing never edits: The excitement with which the golf world looks at the most prestigious and widest-ranging golf tournament!

The most important information about the tournament can be found here!

The official film of the Masters 2019

For all Tiger Woods fans, here is his Masters victory of 2019 described from the players' point of view.

ALL NEW IN 2020

NO VISITORS

For the first time in its history, the Masters will take place without spectators. Only members of the Augusta National Golf Club, PGA Tour staff, TV staff and players' families are expected on the course. As a result, many greens and tee boxes that are normally bounded by spectators will be completely open and look completely different to the players. We can be curious how the 12th tee or the 18th green will look to us and the players without spectators.

WHERE TO TEE OFF

Unlike all the years before, players will start their round on the 10th tee for the first time. On Thursday and Friday, players will start their round from two tee boxes due to the change in light conditions. For players who have been a part of the Masters for years, this will certainly be a bit of a change.

DIFFERENT SETUP

Augusta in the fall. The azaleas, which bloom in April and bring the golf world out of hibernation, will be replaced by a different color of trees this year.

CHAMPIONS DINNER

A great tradition, also unique to the Masters, is the Champions Dinner, which traditionally always takes place on the Tuesday before the Masters. This year's Champions Dinner became a "Social Distancing Dinner" due to the current situation. For many former champions it was nevertheless a nice surprise that the Champions Dinner could take place after all and so 26 of the 33 still living ex-champions were present. As the defending champion, Tiger Woods was given the honor of hosting and served the following menu to his guests:

The Augusta Roll
Tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, avocado, eel sauce, tempura flakes, pickled ginger, wasabi, soy sauce

Prime Steak & Chicken Fajitas
Grilled vegetables, refried beans, Mexican rice, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, tortillas

DessertTrio
Classic flan, churros with chocolate sauce, sopapillas

THE GREEN JACKET

Augusta National Golf Club will show a different, unfamiliar side this year. But this side is certainly no less beautiful than the one we already know of it. And even if the colors of the course are different this year, a player will put on a jacket in a familiar color on Sunday evening. We hope you enjoy the last major of the year.
