Helping people - helping dogs!

Golf House, as a JAB Anstoetz subsidiary, is involved in the areas that - far from the usual daily business - make life worth living. The Sentana Foundation was established by Ralph Anstoetz to promote animal welfare. Particularly distressed and old animals, especially dogs, are to be helped and offered a new perspective. The goals of the foundation are clearly outlined:

  • The support and placement of old, abandoned or leftover dogs.
  • The placement of animals in good hands.
  • The promotion of animal-assisted activities, such as visiting homes for the elderly, orphanages, social institutions, etc.
  • Mediation and arrangements that can lead to therapeutic success.
  • The support of foundations and associations dedicated exclusively to animal welfare in its many forms.
  • The promotion, planning, construction, repair and maintenance of animal shelters and sanctuaries.
  • The financial support of the training of assistance and companion dogs.

The projects supported are diverse and have already achieved considerable success. For example, the project "Give Bielefeld dogs a home" has already been 100% financed by donations. The goal was to provide the dog house in Bielefeld, which has existed since 1976, with the funds for urgently needed renovations. An immediate new building was unfortunately out of reach, but many small steps along the way have already been implemented. Through the Sentana Foundation, a dog house was completely rebuilt in order to build and operate a species-appropriate shelter for two dogs, as the existing facilities served this purpose only very inadequately.

The current pressing issues are the rinse tanks in the animal shelter Bielefeld and the call to support the association TierTisch Bielefeld. Particularly the topic animal owners financially to help, which are financially not in a the position your animal properly to hold and nourish, and with animal fodder to help out is a burning for animal table. Often animals are the last and only support that people still have in an emergency situation - to maintain this symbiosis fights the project "in Bielefeld no animal may starve".

Supporting the animal shelter in Bielefeld is also one of the Sentana Foundation's most current topics. Again and again urgently needed renovation work was postponed, in the meantime leaking drains, material cracks and chipped enamel make the replacement of the over 30 years old sink in the much used dog kitchen urgently necessary. The renovation will cost € 5.000,- approximately with all accessories.
