The Ames golf rain jacket with chest insert is one of our most sophisticated garments and is packed with features. Details include chest tabs for width adjustment during the swing, cuffs with particle elastic and practical Velcro closure, a repositioned side seam for less friction during the swing, an elastic drawcord at the hem and adjustable cuffs. The ISO-approved fabric is impregnated with a PFC-free water-repellent finish and has a "Slide and Glide" inside so that you can easily put the jacket on and take it off even with several layers of clothing underneath. TECHNOLOGY: PERTEX® Shield 3-layer stretch

Pertex Shield Stretch garments have a hydrophilic PU membrane that attracts and retains water molecules thanks to its water-loving properties. This 3-layer fabric is softer and stretchier and feels comfortable against the skin. The gliding effect reduces friction with the clothing worn underneath and guarantees 100% waterproofness. Pertex® fabrics are PFAS-free and therefore the better choice for years of wear, use and confidence.

Due to its water-loving properties, a hydrophilic PU membrane can occasionally cause a slight rippling effect on the surface of the material when exposed to high levels of moisture, especially on light-colored garments. However, this is not a material defect and the material will return to its smooth texture after drying.
