in 1997 Dan Van Horn - at that time father of two 3 and 6 year old golfing children - founded US KIDS Golf with the Ultra Light Series.
The basic idea of US Kids Golf is still today to give girls and boys the joy of learning the life-time sport of golf from the very beginning and to guarantee quick learning and playing success. The first result is the forgiving, extremely light and therefore child-friendly golf equipment of the Ultra Light Series, whose weight is 25% less than that of golf clubs for adults. The Ultra Light Series from US Kids Golf changes the way and the joy with which children today learn to play golf 'easily'.
And because the 'little' beginners soon become seasoned handicappers, it is only logical to take this golfing development into account. Since its introduction in 2007, US Kids Golf's Tour Series has been the "number one" choice for tournament golfers younger than 12.
