The TaylorMade Qi HL irons were specifically designed for golfers who want a higher ball flight, maximum forgiveness, and irons that are exceptionally easy to play. As the high-launch version of the Qi series, they combine straighter ball flights with an effortless launch, helping players achieve consistent distance and greater control. Players with moderate swing speeds, in particular, benefit from the easier playability and the added height in ball flight.

Like the entire Qi series, the Qi HL irons are based on TaylorMade’s “Straight Distance” concept. Rather than promoting a right-to-left bias, the clubs have been specifically tuned for precision, stability, and straighter shots. The integrated design system optimizes each individual iron head and combines organic face geometry, a cap-back design, and a Speed Pocket to deliver high ball speeds, ideal distance gradations, and consistent performance across the entire set.

The innovative Cap Back design combines the stability of a hollow-body iron with the pleasant feel of a classic cavity-back. Together with the HYBRAR Echo dampeners, this creates a soft feel at impact and a pleasant sound, while also offering high forgiveness. FLTD-CG technology positions the center of gravity particularly low in the long irons to enable a higher ball flight and greater playability, while the short irons offer additional control on approach shots.
