The Cleveland Smart Sole is an ultra forgiving wedge that allows for every conceivable shot around the green. With a large clubface, extra wide three-stage sole and HydraZip Spin and UltiZip Groove technologies, the Smart Sole Full-Face takes the guesswork out of the wedge game and makes it easy to get on the green in one shot.

Larger face with all-over grooves
The new larger face combined with the new all-over grooves provide more attack surface for the ball. Not just a little more, but up to 46 % more hitting surface than the comparable Smart Sole 4 models. Due to the larger clubface, the MOI has also increased significantly, which increases forgiveness, especially on shots from the toe, so you have fewer miss-hits.

Every playing condition. Maximum spin
The Smart Sole uses a very specific abrasive and laser-milled line pattern. The high loft sand wedge has a very rough face and a large number of grooves to increase friction and improve consistency.

UltiZip
UltiZip face technology incorporates a special sequence of sharper, deeper and tighter grooves that provide ultimate spin, control, consistency and bite for the short game. Sharper grooves allow the wedge to glide over any type of surface. Deeper grooves create space for grass, sand, dirt or water to escape the hitting zone. Tighter grooves deliver more spin and better contact. And because they're tighter, each clubface has even more grooves from heel to toe than usual.

Three-Stage Sole
The redefined sole provides more efficient interaction with the turf on the fairway, in semi-rough, rough, sand and even from bare spots. The Smart Sole Wedge has a raised bounce on the leading edge to prevent digging in. The new, extra-wide three-stage sole provides added stability to ensure clean, crisp contact and maximum forgiveness.
