Ping I530

The Ping i530 irons are characterized by their compact blade design clubheads and are designed to hit the ball higher and farther with the consistency and accuracy to play shots closer to the hole. Distance gains come from multiple sources, including a highly flexible forged face in a hollow-body design that delivers more yards with less dispersion.

Forged face
As with previous distance designs for demanding players, the forged, highly flexible C300 maraging steel face is precision welded to the hollow 17-4 stainless steel body, creating a bend that delivers big distance gains.

Hollow club head design
The hollow body allows the club face to flex, creating faster ball speeds and more distance. An arched sole cascade accentuates the flex and combines with distance-optimized lofts for maximum height and stopping power on the greens.

More confidence
Blade enthusiasts will appreciate the thin topline, narrow sole and low face height of the compact head. The clean, premium look is thanks in part to a new machining technique that thins the back wall, saving weight, improving forgiveness and reducing dispersion.

More grooves and spin
Precision-milled MicroMax grooves (closer spacing, more grooves) provide consistent launch and spin for better performance in all conditions.

Power With Feel
A lower center of gravity is better targeted at impact, and a precisely placed polymer in the head improves feel and sound while maximizing face flex and therefore ball speed. Tungsten tip screw and shaft weights provide fine-tuning of swingweight.
