Mizuno ST 220 X fairway wood

The Mizuno ST-X 220 fairway wood is part of a confidence-inspiring series of fairway woods built for a higher, draw-oriented ball flight. The ST-X fairway woods are suitable for moderate swing speeds that require an elevated launch - for optimum distance and a controlled landing angle. The generously sized 3-wood features a full Ti construction with SAT2041 beta face for high ball speed like the driver.

The 3-wood is made entirely of titanium for driver-like ball speeds
The SAT2041 Beta Ti clubface with CORTECH of varying thickness is also used in the drivers. In combination with the Ti811 club head, they achieve the most stable and highest ball speeds ever achieved with a Mizuno fairway blade.

The faces of blades 5 and 7 are made of maraging steel
Much more compact (than blade 3) for use on the fairways. The design describes the return to a Maraging MAS1C steel face with high ball speed.
