Technological basis: carbon clubface and REAX shafts
Two innovations are key to the Qi4D series: Firstly, TaylorMade has further perfected its carbon face technology. These club faces are lighter than titanium, particularly durable and efficient in terms of energy transfer. The result: more ball speed and an even better feel.
Secondly, TaylorMade sets a new fitting standard with the new REAX shaft concept. Based on over 11 million swings analyzed, three "Swing Signatures" have been developed to offer the right shaft for every type of player:
- Hold (Low Rotation): Ideal for players with little rotation at impact (e.g. Collin Morikawa).
- Balanced (Mid Rotation): For a balanced swing (e.g. Rory McIlroy).
- Active (High Rotation): Perfect for golfers with high clubface rotation (e.g. Charley Hull).
The REAX shafts not only offer customized flexibility and stability, but also ensure optimum energy transfer thanks to their innovative material composition. Qi4D Driver: Four specialists for the tee shot

- Qi4D and Qi4D LS: The standard model impresses with aerodynamic efficiency, while the LS (Low Spin) has been specially developed for players with high swing speeds who are looking for maximum control.
- Qi4D Max and Max Lite: The focus here is on the high moment of inertia (MOI). The Max offers maximum forgiveness thanks to an integrated aluminum collar (7075 aircraft aluminum), while the Lite version is consistently designed for lightweight construction and supports players with slower swing speeds.
- Launch Monitor Enabled (LME): All models are available as LME versions. Integrated markers in the club face eliminate the need for fitting stickers for launch monitors such as the GC Quad.
