Ladies golf shoes: An essential piece of equipment
Golf is no longer just a sport for wealthy men. Although practicing the sport is still associated with certain costs, golfing has now arrived in the middle of society - and also among a steadily growing number of enthusiastic women.
It goes without saying that both men and women need solid golf equipment. In addition to clubs and balls, good golf shoes are a must. Unfortunately, golf shoes for women are often not given the importance they deserve, although a good grip on the green is a basic requirement for a successful shot. The right footwear is probably the part of the equipment that can most easily contribute to a good performance.
As golf involves walking a distance of up to ten kilometers, women's golf shoes should not only be waterproof and provide good support, but also offer a high level of comfort, as the spine as well as the feet are put under a lot of strain over such a distance. It is advisable to wear women's golf shoes that fit the foot perfectly, do not pinch and do not cause strain on the knees or back. The perfect size and any accessories such as socks are essential for women's golf shoes.
Women's golf shoes: They must be waterproof
What else is important when buying golf shoes? In addition to comfort, it is particularly important that women's golf shoes are waterproof. A rain shower usually doesn't stop passionate female golfers from playing a round, and the clubs are also pulled out in wind and weather. But it's not just the wet green that puts a strain on ladies' golf shoes. They are also exposed to other extraordinary stresses when teeing off and swinging. The workmanship of the seams must be able to withstand this, so outstanding workmanship is essential.
Women's golf shoes: Winter doesn't slow women down
As mentioned, women's golf shoes must offer the player reliable grip even on wet and slippery surfaces. Of course, this is especially true in winter. Nowadays, golf shoes without spikes, i.e. shoes whose soles have studs or a coarse profile, often provide the necessary stability for active players. However, some women golf enthusiasts still swear by women's golf shoes with spikes. Other good reasons for the winter-proof second shoe: special winter golf shoes for women are lined (wool and/or synthetic fur) and cut high. The result is outstanding functionality on the green. And these fashionable winter booties in muted colors can also be worn wonderfully off the course.
