1953
Founding of the company Sportalm Kitzbühel as a knitting mill.
1980
Takeover of the company by W. Ehrlich, with 2.3 million euros in sales and 68 employees. Sportalm Kitzbühel reaches the top in Austria in both traditional costume and ski fashion.
2004
Brand portfolio expanded to include fashion. Sportalm e.motion achieves its first excellent successes in the specialist fashion trade. Strong growth.
2005
Headquarters and competence center with 130 employees is Kitzbühel. Production is located in Bulgaria with 420 employees.
2007
Sportalm Kitzbühel is represented for the first time at Golf House with the latest golf fashion.
2009
"Brand of the year" In January, "Actlive" (Marithé + Francois GIRBAUD), considered the pearl of the Sportalm Group, is named "Brand of the year" at the GQ Stylenight. Sportalm is named winner of the WirtschaftsBlatt Award and Tyrol's best family business in 2009.
2010
Wilhelm Ehrlich is elected "Entrepreneur of the year" (professional group clothing industry / Austria) Ulli Ehrlich is awarded the Leading Ladies Award in the category "Child and career". With this award the magazine MADONNA honors Ms. for their outstanding achievements.
2013
The 60th anniversary of the brand and the seventieth birthday of company boss Wilhelm Ehrlich provided the occasion for a superlative anniversary event. 700 guests celebrated the 60th anniversary of the company which has become an international player in the fashion market.
2014
On July 31, 2014, Sportalm opened its new headquarters in Kitzbühel. Numerous guests took the opportunity to visit the modern Sportalm office headquarters, which are designed in accordance with Feng Shui
