The Scotty Cameron Limited Edition Phantom Black 7 putter was developed in collaboration with a prominent tour player who sought the performance and alignment benefits of a specific shaft configuration combined with the long alignment lines and high MOI of the Phantom 7 model. It features Scotty's Tour Black finish, custom alignment features and a unique double-curved shaft for precise setup and near face-balanced performance.
Instead of positioning the shaft so that it disappears from the player's view at address, the Phantom Black 7's double-curved shaft creates an overhead view like that of a plumbing-hosel putter with a "cross angle" to straighten the putter. The Phantom Black 7 is constructed of 303 stainless steel with a 6061 aircraft aluminum sole and features a milled sight line on the top edge, customizable sole weights, a chain link milling on the face and a tour-proven urethane-coated Matador grip.
Tour Black Finish
The Tour Black Finish was developed for players who prefer a dark putter and want to reduce sun glare. It includes a PVD coating on the stainless steel putter head, while the aluminum sole has a matte black anodized finish.
Custom alignment line
With a milled top edge and two light gray accented lines, the Phantom Black 5.5 features a custom tour putter-inspired target line for professional alignment.
Chain-Link Face Milling Technology
Chain-Link Face Milling Technology reduces the contact points of the putter face at impact with the ball through a texture that dampens sound and provides tour-ready roll characteristics while maintaining the feel and feedback of the putter face.
